06/05/2017 | 6 p.m. – 7 p.m.   |    Youth Fishing Class (part 1): This is a 2-part (3 hours total) in which youth age 7 to 14 will learn basic fishing techniques, knot tying and fish identifying. Part 1 of this class is 1 hour and part 2 is a 2 hour class.

06/12/2017 | 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.   |    Youth Fishing Class (part 2): This is a 2-part (3 hours total) in which youth age 7 to 14 will learn basic fishing techniques, knot tying and fish identifying. Part 1 of this class is 1 hour and part 2 is a 2 hour class.

06/24/2017 | 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.   |    Covanta Fishing Outing at Camp Atterbury: youth have the opportunity to practice the skills they were taught during the Youth Fishing Classes. Limit of 50 youth. Equipment and bait will be available and lunch will be provided. Free. The plan is to leave the OYEA facility at 7:30 a.m. and return at 1:30 p.m. Transportation will be provided to those who need it.

08/05/2017 | 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.   |    Pride Field Trip: At Bradford Woods our youths will learn about testing water quality and other wetland conservation issues. Limit of 50 youth

08/04/2017 – 08/20/2017 | 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.   |    Indiana State Fair: OYEA visits the Indiana State Fair Limit of 30 youth

This Class covers the State of Indiana Hunting Rules and Regulations and gun safety. (As Per the Indiana Department of Natural Resources) Limit of 50 youth

09/23/2017 | 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.   |    Dow Fishing Trip: OYEA in conjunction with DOW AGRO SCIENCE offers a one day event exposing the youths to career opportunities in land and animals conservation.
